Runway Highlights: Mud cloth figured prominently in the fashion show in Dakar, Senegal in 1992. Chris Seydou was designing clothes in Paris when he returned home and made mud cloth.

Prayers By The River: Sun goes down, Kongo people often offer prayers at Congo River, a spiritual crossroads where water meets earth.

There are 3 different gardens in this exhibit and none of them are closed off with many different plants and flowers.

Multiple plants with different colors like blue grasses, etc. that attract the butterflies.

Signs show you what kind of butterflies visit there.

The island is surrounded by high Tamala Limestone formations to protect it from strong ocean winds

It has calm lagoon like waters and it is within marine sanctuary zone.

The island waters have bottle-nose dolphins, green turtles, and humpback whales.

Praia do Cachorro

The name "Praia do Cachorro" means puppy beach.

It's next to Buraco do Galego

It's name means "puppy beach" because a dog shaped sculpture used to be on the island

Mont Blanc

The weight of the densified layers changes the ice’s crystalline structure which creates various color spectrums.

All seracs eventually topple over when glacial movement or melting occurs

 Serac's blue tint was created over time by the compression of individual layers of snow
